Why is treatment necessary for Dental Emergencies?

If you are considering forgoing treatment for an emergency, it’s best to be seen as soon as feasibly possible. Emergencies can get worse if they are not treated properly, which can cause a variety of problems long-term. An infection that’s ignored can become painful and cause tooth loss and even bone loss. A filling that has fallen out may eventually require the tooth to have a root canal. Treatment is important for all types of emergencies and it’s best to be seen as soon as you can get into the office.
